Comments

Comments use the same Markdown engine as publications with a deliberately smaller surface: everything for discussing content, nothing for composing documents.

Available in comments

• All text formatting: emphasis, inline code, strikethrough, subscript/superscript, definition lists, typographic dashes
• Lists and task lists, blockquotes, tables, footnotes
• Links and autolinks
• Full mathematics – inline and display
• Code blocks with highlighting and titles
• Mentions – @handle to bring someone into a thread

Not available in comments

• No media: images, figures, video embeds, and iframes do not render.
• No block extensions: statement, admonition, spoiler, tabs, and TikZ directives are not processed – the ::: lines show as plain text.
• No attachments: comments have no file uploads, so no attachment chips.

So a comment can quote a formula, correct a derivation, or share a snippet – but a full treatment with figures and theorem blocks belongs in a publication of its own.

The bound in the second display should be strict: for $n \ge 2$,
